In the beginning How Bad Can It Get? was going to be just a journal story. The author, John
Heavner, was writing it so that the facts of events that had occurred during some of the
worst years of his life would never be forgotten. John had endured tragic personal loss and
several legal battles in his life only to come through it to find happiness, and a closer
relationship with God.
John was born and raised in central Arkansas and still lives there today with his wife
Loretta, and their three children, Chad, Alex, and Alexa. He is an Eagle Scout and served
proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, both from
California Coast University.
John is the Owner and President of Storage Space, LLC (storagespacellc.com) and a board
member of Action Process Service of Arkansas, LLC, Arkansas Corporation Services, Inc.
and New Hope Church of the Nazarene. He has over twenty-six years’ experience in self
storage management. John cherishes the moments that he spends with his family and
friends. These are the better things in life that we all are blessed with.
