How Bad Can It Get? is the true story based upon the tragic deaths of Joshua Andrew
Heavner and his grandfather, William Arthur Heavner, Jr. two weeks later and the
ensuing legal battles that followed.

Joshua Andrew Heavner was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 20, 1995. Shortly
after his third birthday on the way to daycare one morning Joshua pleaded with his
daddy to let him go to work and spend the day with him. John Heavner, his father
week. In an effort to spend a little more time together John agreed to let him go to
work with him. That day became a regular routine for Joshua and his daddy. He began
going to work with him almost every day. Joshua became popular with the customers
and they all referred to him as the "Little Boss Man."

Joshua Andrew Heavner was always a very inquisitive child and he was quick to learn,
with a fantastic sense of humor. One of the first phrases that he spoke was "what's
that." It was always frustrating to him because he always had to have people read to
him. He loved the Power Rangers, Dinosaurs, and pocket knifes. He would ask almost
every man that came into the office if they had a pocket knife and he asked most
every women if they had any children. Joshua was always trying to sell you something
that you probably didn't need.

Tragically, on March 27,2000 Joshua was killed by a defective U-Haul truck in the
driveway of his father's storage business. Two weeks later his grandfather was killed
while turkey hunting. How Bad Can It Get? is their story.
